Industrial & Civil Engineering

JAE accelerometers can detect extremely low vibration levels at even low frequencies. The JA-40, a servo balanced quartz, has been used successfully for many years to detect both seismic events and to provide vibration control in industrial applications. The 3-axis JA-70 has more recently been developed to offer a lower costs MEMS based alternative. This model provides similar performance even at low frequencies and is more economical for applications that require multi axis measurement.
The applications for these accelerometers include sway & tilt analysis, structural health monitoring, industrial vibration control and seismology.

Automotive

Due to its simple non-contact design the JVR resolvers provide high reliability even in harsh conditions. Utilizing more than 50 years of experience in the aerospace industry we have designed a resolver range that provides accurate angle measurement with integrated angle error compensation. Motor control is optimized by the use of special winding techniques to reduce magnetic and electrical noise.
The thin design of the JVR resolvers minimizes space requirements. All resolvers are manufactured in-house in our own facilities on automated production lines to guarantee superior product quality.
JAE appreciate that every new car design is special and can require unique resolver features. Therefore to support key OEMs we have set up a global engineering team to provide both integration and design support.
Recognizing product cost constraints, we have already set up production facilities in multiple countries to economically support local demands.

Magnetometers

 

Using our extensive knowledge for spinning mass and fiber optic gyroscopes we have developed a fluxgate based magnetometer. Ring core type fluxgates minimize flux leakage from the core edge whilst being able to sense two axes from one fluxgate reducing both size and weight. Our own advanced manufacturing facility is also utilized to assemble processing electronics using latest MCM technology to ensure long term reliability in harsh environments.

Directional Modules

Manufactured in-house using our sensor technology we have created directional modules for easy integration to MWD, LWD and Wireline tools. Each module is fully calibrated by JAE to ensure reliable measurements down hole. MCM technology is used extensively throughout our directional modules to ensure long term reliability in harsh environments.
 

 

JAE has developed the SMART DM range to provide a high accuracy calibrated position information downhole through industry standard digital output protocols. The compact design allows for easy integration to both existing and new tool designs where space is always limited.
