For Display Port (1.1a) Next-Generation High-Speed Differential Transmission connector
  • Interface connector compatible with the next-generation flat panel interface standard DisplayPort 1.1a.
  • 20 contacts, 1.0mm contact pitch in mating area (0.5mm pitch SMT terminals on receptacle)
  • Secure shielding with metallic shell (Nickel or Tin plating is available for finish of shell. Thickness of Gold plating for contact is 0.3micrometer min.).
  • Board-side receptacle is available in reverse SMT type for reverse mounting and angle SMT type with flange, in addition to the standard angle SMT and through-hole types.
  • Reinforced-type receptacle available with enhanced metal shell structure, robust against rough handling of cable during mating and unmating.
  • Mating height is 6.5mm for angle SMT type board-side receptacle (6.65mm at the thickest area)
  • Excellent transmission with three-row footprint for terminals of through-hole type.
  • Cable-assembled plugs available in 12.2mm height with latch (mechanical lock) for increased connector retention, or 10mm height slim type without latch.
  • 2m and 3m plug cable assemblies available.
  • Cable assembly passed compliance test certification by VESA. (2m)
  • Now developing a DP adapter that can be connected to a flat panel compatible with general VGA and DVI.
