Recently devices like notebook PCs have seen an evolution in high-speed transmission standards such as DisplayPort, along with the acceleration of high-speed signals and high definition graphics. To meet these advances, JAE has developed the FI-DP series connectors as a board-to-cable connector that is compatible with high-speed transmission.
  • Compatible with DisplayPort(Rev. 1.1a) transmission.
  • Height when mated: 2.0mm(42position), 8.8mm(58position)
  • EMI characteristics and board retention strength is improved by the multiple hold-downs(42pos: 9points, 58pos: 14points) of the socket connector.
  • Socket connector and hold-downs are integrated. Cable connector and base shell touch when mated so cable connector is in contact with the ground on board.
  • The pull bar makes removing the cable easier in limited mounting spaces, and also serves as a lock to prevent unmating caused by vibration and shock.
  • Compatible with discrete wire and fine coaxial wire (coax/ twinax).
  • Applications:
    Notebook PCs, flat-screen TVs, set-top boxes, etc.
