HDMI Connectors
The market for digital consumer devices such as set-top boxes,
LCD TVs, PDP TVs and DVD players has been rapidly expanding.
Consumers have needed a simpler and more efficient way of connecting
these devices, a way which eliminates that intimidating and complex
tangle of audio and video cables. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia
Interface) is that new standard and JAE provides quality HDMI
connectors for your digital connectivity. (HDMI is a registered
trademark of HDMI Licensing, LLC.)
JAE's new High Definition Multimedia Interface or HDMI connectors
and cable assemblies were designed to strict HDMI specifications.
This series of connectors can provide an uncompressed, encrypted
digital link between consumer electronics equipment -- such as DVD
players, set-top boxes, PCs -- directly to a video monitor or
digital television. HDMI cable can be used to carry audio, video
and/or device-controlling signals.
JAE's DC1 series is a small, user-friendly interconnect that can
carry up to 5 Gbps of combined video and audio data on a single
cable. This eliminates the cost, complexity and confusion generated
by the use of multiple cables to connect current A/V systems.
Features of our DC1 series HDMI connectors:
- JAE's HDMI connectors are small connectors with a 1.0 mm pitch.
- A high-level impedance-matching design is compliant to high-speed
transmissions.
- Our HDMI connectors have a ground condition structure for EMI
prevention.
- They have a friction lock structure for easy insertion and removal
of the connector.
- Our HDMI connectors are available in both surface mount types and
through-hole mount types.
- DC1 cables are available in both HDMI-to-HDMI for true digital
connectivity, and the backwardly compatible HDMI-to-DVI form for
cases where DVI equipment is still being utilized.
- Our DC1 HDMI connectors are shielded for full ESD protection, are
gold plated for reliability and are 100% lead-free.
