JAE Oregon History

Established in 1988, JAE Oregon, Inc is an Oregon corporation located in the active and diverse city of Tualatin, Oregon - conveniently a short distance south of Portland and 30 miles north of Salem, the state capital

Standing quietly on 40 acres of land, JAE Oregon's 116,000 sq. ft. facility incorporates all the processes required for the development and manufacturing of electrical connectors.

JAE Oregon is a division of JAE Aviation Electronics Industry, Ltd., located in Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1953, Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, Ltd. operates with our corporate philosophy, Explore, Create and Practice.

JAE Oregon Kaizen Program

Kaizen Program

JAE Oregon's Kaizen program is the cornerstone of our commitment to quality and of our continuous improvement culture. The Kaizen program has two levels:

  • Kaizen Events - these 3-5 day events allow a cross-functional team to apply intense focus to a product or process in order to make significant and immediate improvements.
  • Kaizen Suggestions - engages every member of the company in the improvement cycle by allowing any level of employee to make suggestions for easily implemented changes that can improve efficiency and quality.

JAE's Kaizen program, supported by our Business Unit Teams, provides JAE with a framework to meet the demands of our mission statement and Quality Policy.
