JAE begins global online sales of high-frequency coaxial connectors manufactured by Waka Manufacturing

Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, Ltd. (JAE) - headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo and led by President Masayuki Muraki - has commenced online sales of select high-frequency coaxial connectors, including those compatible with 145GHz, manufactured by Waka Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Waka Manufacturing headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshinosuke Wakabayashi). These connectors are now available through Digi-Key and Mouser Electronics, two of the world's leading online distributors of electronic components.
Details of the Sales Partnership
JAE and Waka Manufacturing aim to leverage their respective strengths, including JAE's global business infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities, and Waka Manufacturing's advanced technology in high-frequency coaxial connectors, to meet growing demand for high frequency connectors. In November 2024, the two companies signed a basic agreement to explore a business alliance.Following the agreement, both companies identified the growing market demand for coaxial connectors compatible with high frequencies above 100GHz, that are available in small quantities with short lead times and high quality. Waka Manufacturing’s Japan-made products are well positioned to meet these needs.
As an initial step, 95 items, including connectors, adapters and harnesses, have been selected for online distribution through Digi-Key and Mouser. Products include the 145GHz class 0.8mm Series, the 110GHz class 1.0mmW Series, and the 65GHz class SMPS Series.
Through this partnership, JAE and Waka Manufacturing aim to expand global sales of Japan-made coaxial connectors that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
