JAE has launched sales for the AP01 Series PCB antennas and AP02 Series FPC antennas, both equipped with fine coaxial cables and compatible with 5G/LTE and Wi-Fi.

Overview
Today, with the popularization of 5G (fifth-generation mobile communication systems), ICT equipment that connect various devices to the internet, IoT devices, and in-vehicle communication devices, expectations for high-quality wireless communications are higher than ever. To meet these needs, JAE has launched the AN01/AN02 Series surface-mount type (SMT) metal antennas, which are compact, high-performance, and compatible with automatic mounting. These antennas have already been widely adopted in various devices, including Wi-Fi routers, smart meters, and in-vehicle equipment.
To further satisfy diverse needs, we have expanded our lineup of compact and high-performance antennas with the addition of the AP01 Series PCB antennas and the AP02 Series FPC antennas, now on sale. Both series can be directly attached inside device housing via fine coaxial cables, which makes them ideal for devices where securing space for a board-mounted antenna is challenging, increasing flexibility in antenna placement across various devices.
The AP01 Series PCB antenna can be attached to flat plastic housing surface, while the AP02 Series FPC antenna offers the same performance characteristics but can also adhere to curved plastic housing surface, making it suitable for a wide range of devices.
Going forward, JAE will continue developing products that deliver high-quality wireless communication across an even more devices.

- Placement flexibility: Features a double-sided tape attachment for increased flexibility in antenna placement within devices.
- Robustness: Minimal influence from nearby metallic objects, similar to our AN01/AN02 Series antennas.
