Regarding unauthorized access to our servers (second report)

On November 2, 2023, we confirmed that some of our group’s servers had received unauthorized access from an external party. This unauthorized access was an attack by ransomware, files on the servers are encrypted, and it has become clear that some of the information stored on the server at the overseas subsidiary JAE Oregon, Inc. (Oregon, U.S.) received unauthorized access and was leaked.We have set up the task force and we are now investigating the damage and working on restoration with support of external experts.
Regarding this matter, we are reporting and consulting with the relevant organizations, and consequently, we will report to our customers and business partners who may have been affected, and we are proceeding with strengthening security and taking counter measures to prevent a recurrence.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, business partners, and concerned parties. We will make every effort to prevent the further damage and a recurrence.
