DX07 Series
Since its release, the use of USB Type-C® connectors have become increasingly popular in various computing devices including PCs, smartphones, and gaming consoles. Due to the flexibility of the interface, it is also commonly used in devices which specialize in supplying power, such as power adapters and mobile batteries.
From high-speed transmission connectors that support Thunderbolt™3 (40Gbps) to connectors that specialize in supplying power and USB 2.0 transmission, we offer a large lineup of products that will fit in a wide range of applications and devices. We are also focusing on developing high performance connectors which meet each new version of the USB specifications including USB4™ and Thunderbolt™4.
As a connector manufacturer who has been involved in the development of the USB Type-C connector standard from the outset, JAE will continue to respond to customer needs and work to improve the ease of adoption by offering many variations for different device designs and PCB mounting requirements.
USB Type-C Applications
Below are examples of the connections between various devices which use USB Type-C connectors and cables to interface with one another. Depending on the transmission standard (USB4, USB 3.2, USB 2.0, etc.) that each device supports, the cable required to connect the devices to each other will differ.
USB Type-C Connector Receptacle Variations
There are many possible variations of the receptacle connector depending on the specific requirements for each device. Below are the main connector mounting options to consider when selecting the ideal connector.
USB Type-C Connector Receptacle Mounting Height Variations
The mounting height for right angle connectors can be critical since this determines the position of the port on the device. In some cases, a taller connector is desirable to match the height of other taller connectors, while a low profile connector can be more desirable in thin devices.
