In-Vehicle Infotainment Connection Supporting High-speed Signal Transmission MA07 Series
The evolution of in-vehicle infotainment systems has expanded information available to the driver and improved their comfort by providing entertainment, such as playing movies and games, to passengers. JAE has developed the MA07 Series as a connector and harness solution for enabling these in-vehicle features.
In-Vehicle Infotainment Systems and Adoption Examples
In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) is a system that enhances the driving experience and improves comfort by receiving user input through a touch panel or voice control, and selecting the information and entertainment needed by the driver and passengers. This IVI system consists of various hardware and software systems.
Among them, displays that show information play a very important role. USB 3.2 and DisplayPort are widely used to transmit video signals to these displays, and the "MA07 series" developed by JAE is increasingly being adopted.

MA07 Series Product Overview
With the evolution of in-vehicle infotainment, displays are becoming higher resolution and data transmission is becoming faster.
JAE has released the MA07 series of board to cable connectors as a product that satisfies these various requirements. The series supports USB 3.2 Gen2 and DisplayPort 1.4 transmission, has an operating temperature range of -40deg.C to +105deg.C, and a robust outer housing to prevent angled insertion. In addition to four types of mating keys, five different color variations are available to prevent incorrect insertion. JAE is currently studying the possibility of further miniaturization of the product.
