In fiscal 2016, a number of indices increased compared to the previous fiscal year, in line with higher production volumes. To curb greenhouse gas emissions, we have shifted to efficient air conditioning equipment.
Mass Balance at Overseas Production Sites
This page introduces the environmental impact of the JAE Group’s overseas production sites.Quite a few items in fiscal 2016 rose slightly in terms of both input materials and emissions compared to the previous fiscal year due to production increases, but we held down the increase of volume of water used, despite the circumstances. The increase in material usage was mainly due to increased production volume at JAE-PH.
The items mentioned here differ to some extent from the classifications used for production sites in Japan. For that reason, there may be cases where data is missing from some production sites.
